Scope

Dopharma has a wide range of products for Poultry with marketing authorizations in many Countries. Our Poultry portfolio consists of pharmaceutical products (antibiotics and non-antibiotics) in a variety of formulations and applications, several important supplements and herd specific vaccines.
Our goal is to be more present on an international level with the Key Accounts and stakeholders for Poultry and to be visible as a potential partner now and in the future. A structured approach and face to face contact with these Key Accounts would give us that opportunity.

Role

The role as Key Account Manager (KAM) Poultry is to be created so a large amount of freedom to build this position within the current framework is available. You will report to the CEO Business and the Marketing Director to ensure guidance and adherence with the growth strategy of Dopharma. The requirements would be a self-propelling team worker who is energized by developing plans and business and being in charge of the execution. A mature level of knowledge of the Poultry sector and experience in customer approach would be a nice facilitator. Excellent knowledge of the English language is a must to ensure internal and external communication.
Due to the nature of the role, a large amount of time will be spend on travelling within Europe and beyond. To ensure contact with the team and knowledge of the internal processes and developments a regular presence at the Dopharma Headquarters in Raamsdonksveer (NL) would also be required.
Training and guidance will be provided by internal and external Poultry experts on technical/marketing and sales level.

Deliverables

Through teamwork and using internal and external expertise a development plan will be created in the first year, including identification of client profiles matching the Dopharma profile and setting up some pilots. Building a network in the sector is a long term effort and will be achieved by attending international Poultry events and initiating client contacts.
During the second year the results of the pilots and feedback from the market will define the final strategy and a plan will be made to be executed by the KAM and the supporting team.
