The Company

Dopharma is a family owned veterinary pharmaceutical company with its headquarters in the Netherlands.

Dopharma delivers high quality veterinary pharmaceuticals for livestock since its establishment in 1969. Started as a one-man business and grown into a company with over 300 employees.

With 10 local enterprises in Europe and approximately 60 distribution partners, Dopharmas products are sold in more than 70 countries. Dopharma produces antibacterial, anti-parasitic and anti-inflammatory products as well as hormone preparations, supporting pharmaceuticals and complementary feed.

Together we work towards clever and sophisticated solutions in order to achieve the best results possible, contributing to a healthy livestock.

We are a full-service organisation offering livestock pharmaceutical solutions as well as diagnostic solutions.

Dopharma has most disciplines under own management. These disciplines include Research & Development, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Logistics, Technical Support and Sales & Marketing.

Having all these disciplines under one roof allows us to excel. Optimum alignment leads to efficiency. And last but not least, the interconnection of disciplines stimulates entrepreneurship and innovation.

In 2019 Dopharma purchased the Coophavet brand and marketing authorizations from Boehringer Ingelheim. The Coophavet brand is still used in many countries, in France, but also in Asia.

Diagnostics

RIPAC-LABOR is a pioneer in its field. Starting to produce autogenous vaccines in 2002.  In 2005 RIPAC-LABOR was one of the first private veterinary laboratories in Germany to identify pathogens using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry (MS).

Ripac-Labor

Vaccines are without doubt the most important pharmaceutical tool to prevent animal disease and improve animal health & welfare in livestock animals. Both registered and autogenous vaccines are an important player in this field.
